Samsung Galaxy Note 2 review
Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is coming into the market. This week the users of AT & T, T-Mobile and Sprint have managed to get the pleasure from smartphone–tablet computer hybrid. But Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is not so far available for the subscribers of Verizon. However, according to the recent data it won’t take long for them to wait. Verizon on its site placed the following information on 5.5-inch “phablet”: will ship by 11/27. When putting into effect an order for Samsung Galaxy Note II (two types of cover colors are available: Titanium Gray and Marble White) you can see the offering price that Verizon sells smartphone–tablet computer hybrid. The price for Samsung Galaxy Note 2 with 2-Year contract - $299.99. Also you can find out that the full retail price for Galaxy Note II - $699.99. Taking into account the above mentioned it is clear that the contract price for smartphone–tablet at Verizon is comparable with the price for "phablet" in other places. For instance, today one can purchase Samsung Galaxy Note II 4G Android Phone (AT&T) at $249.99 with free Two-Day Shipping or Samsung Galaxy Note II 4G Android Phone, Titanium (Sprint) at $199.99. And at T-Mobile price for "phablet" is slightly higher - $369.99.
At the same time Verizon has not made any official statements so far as for the start of the selling, only rumours and indirect information give base to suppose that the release is projected on November, 29. The information from the site that deliveries will be carried out from November, 27 supports this supposition. But Verizon is withdrawn from giving any comments in this connection.
Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will be equipped with multi-window-feature or run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Multi-window-feature will let the users download on the screen two apps at a time in different windows, for example, it will be possible to check your e-mails and write text messages at a time.
Galaxy Note 2 demonstrates a new strategy of Samsung: now the new phone is made on multiple networks. It’s clear that some Verizon subscribers and other US Cellular were not glad that original Galaxy Note was available only for AT & T subscribers. And now the release of Galaxy Note II more than for one operator claims to repeat the success of Samsung’s bestseller Galaxy S3 that was available for the subscribers of all the largest US carriers and selling’s of which exceeded 30 million units.
However, taking into account all the advantages we can’t but mention about the possible problems for Samsung Galaxy Note 2 at Verizon networking. For instance, HTC Droid DNA may become the main competitor of “phablet”, features of which is comparable with the device from Samsung, besides, Droid DNA $100 cheaper than Note 2. The advantage of “phablet” is that it is provided with a stylus. Soon we’ll find out what the customers will choose.
